The client is a US-based leader in providing direct marketing and on-demand marketing solutions for brands across various industries. Enabled by tech, they created an application that helps in integrated marketing campaigns and customized content for print, email, mobile, and social media.
The complications arose when they identified design challenges in reusable components of the app accessed by 176000+ active users, created by continuous code updates. These frequent changes developed gaps in test cases and gave way to lots of test case rework.
To solve this problem, the client had to build a customized framework based on action methods instead of industry-standard functional methods, supporting any testing approach.
